This BJJ neck mobility exercise is extremely useful at softening your neck and helping to relieve pain.
It's a simple exercise that involves circling the joint through it's full range of motion.
Lead the circles with your attention on your chin.
Move slow at first and if there is any discomfort or dizziness move even slower or stop the movement!
I like performing 10 circles each way, doing 2 to 3 sets at time!
