Mobility Exercise To Release Tight Upper Back & Shoulders | Mobillity Training ft. Billy Edelen

This shoulder mobility exercise helps to relieve tightness in the muscular area where the scapula (shoulder blade) and spine reside.

From BJJ training this area is classically tight, as I often refer to it as "grappling syndrome."

In this BJJ shoulder mobility exercise we take 2 baseballs and put them in a sock. Keeping them on the same side of the spine we put this in the area I spoke of above.

You then move hand from hip to shoulder with thumb pointing upwards, and you're well on your way to relieving some tension in this area!
